The 2010 Honda Civic GX has received the highest rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Honda Civic GX dealers are proud to announce that the vehicle received five starts from the NHTSA for its performance in the frontal crash test for both the driver’s and front passenger’s seating positions. These frontal crash-safety ratings are a testament to the advanced safety engineering that comes standard on every Honda Civic GX.
The Honda Civic GX, for sale at your local Honda Civic GX dealer, is equipped with dual-stage, multiple-threshold front airbags (SRS). One or both of these airbags will be deployed only in the event of a sufficient frontal impact. If deployed, these airbags are capable of being inflated at different rates depending on crash severity, seat-belt usage and other factors. Frontal airbags are designed to supplement the seat belts to help reduce the likelihood of head and upper body injuries in frontal crashes.
Honda is committed to providing safety for everyone—that means crash protection not only for our own drivers and passengers, but also for other vehicle occupants, and injury mitigation for pedestrians. We are dedicated to identifying and implementing advanced designs and features that help enhance the safety of vehicles on the road.
The Honda Civic GX exemplifies this comprehensive approach to safety, so the perfect rating from the NHTSA is of no surprise to local Honda Civic GX dealers. Find out more by filling out our contact form and be the first to get behind the wheel of a Honda Civic GX.
